Can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time, and you’ll still receive your PRO benefits for 1 month after the latest payment. You can also delay your next payment or pause your subscription. All this can be done from the Manage My Subscription page under “Account Settings”.

Do credits expire?

No. Any unused credits will roll over into the next month. Even if you cancel your PRO membership, you’ll still have access to all the credits you received while you were subscribed.

Is the checkout secure?

Yes. Payment is handled through the Stripe checkout. Stripe is a Merchant of Record that is fully compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). When you make a purchase, you are actually paying Stripe through their secure, compliant checkout. Stripe then pays us after handling taxes and compliance.

Do you keep my card details?

No. Payments are handled by Stripe who are a PCI compliant Merchant of Record, which means that even Stripe don’t see or store your card details. Character Invoker does not have any access to your card details apart from the last 4 digits of your card number.

Can I get a refund?

It depends on the product you purchased, how much you used it, and the reasons for wanting a refund. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.

Is there a one-off payment option, or do I need to subscribe?

At this moment of the product, we only have a subscription tier. We are working to get new ways for you to get credits, but are not available at the moment

Can I get more credits without paying?

Yes, every month we give you 10 credits free on the Free tier. You also can win credits getting your friends to come to the platform, or participating on different challenges that we will create in the future.

My credits went to the wrong account!

Your credits will go to whatever account you’re logged in to when you purchase them. If this is the wrong account for some reason, contact us and we’ll transfer them for you.

What if my creation fails / is marked as “error”?

We know not all creations are successful. If your creation fails, your credits will be automatically refunded and you can try again.

Why does it cost money?

Character Invoker used to offer unlimited creations for free, but the model quickly proved unsustainable as we grew. It takes a lot of computing power to process a creation, and that costs us money. However, as algorithms become more optimised, and compute power becomes cheaper, the cost of Character Invoker credits has and will continue to go down.
